Cigna Dental Oral Health Integration Program®
For customers living with certain chronic conditions like diabetes or heart disease, or those who are pregnant, the Cigna Dental Oral Health Integration Program2 provides reimbursement for certain dental services to reduce the impact dental conditions like gum disease can have on certain medical conditions.
Onsite Dental Care
With our Cigna Onsite Dental® program, we make dental cleanings more convenient than ever. Where available, we can bring in-network dental care providers to employer locations, transforming conference rooms into pop-up dental clinics.
Dental Virtual Care3
If your employees are unable to see their regular dentists for urgent issues (such as toothache, infection, swelling, bleeding, and more), they can access Cigna Healthcare Dental Virtual Care dentists 24/7/365 through myCigna®.
Preventive Dental Care Reminders
Customers who have Cigna Healthcare medical and dental coverage may qualify for the Cigna Healthcare Dental Outreach Program if they have a diagnosis for a chronic health condition and have not seen a dentist in more than seven months. Under this program, Cigna Healthcare will reach out and remind customers to make an appointment, so they can stay on top of preventive care and stay healthy.
Dental Pain Management
We work together with dental providers through monitoring, coaching, and safe opioid prescribing protocols, which helps protect our customers and their families from misuse, addiction, and overdose.
